EXPRESS POST: Place your order before 10am for urgent deliveries using Express Post, which guarantees overnight delivery to addresses within the Express Post Network. (Please visit the Australia Post website for a list of delivery postcodes in the Express Post Network).

Deliveries occur between between 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday via Australia Post. If no one is home at the time of delivery, the package will be sent to the nearest post office, to be collected at the recipient's convenience. The driver will leave a dated card with instructions to collect the package from the nearest post office. If the package is not collected within 5 business days, it will be returned to our warehouse in Port Melbourne, Victoria. In this circumstance, we will contact the customer to decide what they'd like to do from there.  Saturday delivery may occur during peak periods, at the discretion of Australia Post.

Ask us for a quote of your preferred items to order, the destination, and delivery options and we will weigh it and quote the final costs including delivery. All orders will require hot weather protection (International shipping + $10 Hot weather pack). 
We only offer International Express parcel shipping (with signature) by Australia Post. 

New Zealand Delivery Special (New for 2017) 
Special price! $14.99 delivery for a “shipping weight” of less than 2kg. (The 2kg weight includes the weight of the product, outer box, hot weather protection and packing materials.) We use International Express parcel shipping (with signature) by Australia Post. 
We recommend the New Zealand delivery approved “Delicious Rewards Hamper” ($59.95 + $14.99 shipping + $10 hot weather protection), or our 900g Cocoa Dusted Macadamia Big Bag ($49.95+ $14.99 shipping + $10 hot weather protection).  

Hot weather protection packs are required for all orders.

The Chocolate Box offers free standard shipping to one nominated address within Australia, for product purchases placed online over $85. Extra deliveries to separate addresses will be charged at the flat rate of $14.99.

Our Hot Weather Protection is charged separate to shipping, at $10 per delivery address.

Some bulk chocolates may be excluded from the free shipping offer. This will appear on the product page where relevant, so you are aware of the charge prior to placing your order. 

Free Shipping does not apply on our 1kg bags during the Big Bag Sale in January and June. 

STANDARD POLICY

We have developed a 'hot weather protection' pack , available to purchase for $10 at the checkout online or over the phone. This consists of an ice block wrapped inside a protective thermal bag, and various packing materials to line the box. This pack has been tested to keep your chocolates cool during transit for approx. 5 days. 

To ensure that your chocolates and confectionery arrive at their destination in the best possible condition, The Chocolate Box may delay the delivery of chocolates for one or two days if the weather is extremely hot on the day the chocolates are ordered.

If your order is placed on a Friday, we may send products on the following Monday so that the products do not sit in a delivery depot over the weekend. Melbourne and Sydney customers may choose the option of picking up their order from one of our stores upon arrangement. 

In any instance, if your order is being delayed, we will contact you on the phone number or email address provided. 

Due to the fragile nature of our chocolates, we highly recommend that Hot Weather Protection packs are included in your order during the hotter months from October to April. Refunds will not be offered for any heat affected products unless a hot weather protection pack has been purchased during these months.

We regularly send orders to New Zealand, USA, UK and Singapore. We recommend sending via Express Post International, through Australia Post, to take advantage of tracking and signature on delivery, and a 2-7 business day delivery time frame.

We offer same day delivery to Melbourne metro addresses for a flat rate of AU$20 for orders placed before 11am, to the suburbs outlined below.

Sydney
Same Day delivery is also available for selected Sydney addresses, but will need to be quoted based on your delivery location. Please place your order before 11am to the suburbs below.

Your order may take up to 8 business days for delivery depending on the destination and how far it is from Melbourne. Please note: The Chocolate Box team utilizes the services of Australia Post. To avoid a late delivery, especially during peak seasons and holidays, please be sure to provide our team with an address which is accessible during normal delivery hours (i.e. Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM). Due to regulations, if no one is present at the delivery site upon arrival, the package will be rerouted to the nearest post office to be collected at the recipient's convenience.
